CHATELAIN, DARLENE: After a long and brave battle with cancer, on October 31st at the age of 68 Darlene Chatelain (Paquette) peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by her family. Darlene will be sadly missed by her best friend and husband of 52 years Marcel Chatelain. Loving mother & friend to Tammy Warden (Tom), Cherished Grandmother & inspiration to Nicole Casey (Jon) and Misty Casey(Marc). Cherished sister to Brenda Michel (Leo) who was by her side till the very end. Brother Brian (Loni), predeceased by brother Don (Pierette) and Gary (Jeanette). She will be greatly missed by everyone in the Chatelain & Michel Family who Darlene loved and cherished so very much. Darlene had many life long friends that will never forget her gentle touch and warm heart. She was the most amazing and strong women and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We love you around the world and back again to your toes forever and always. In Darlene’s wishes she will be cremated and returned home with her family. All family and friends are welcome to an open house at Caistor Community Centre, 9184 Regional Road 65, Silver Street, Caistor Centre (Abingdon), Saturday November 3rd from 2 to 7pm.
