ALLEN, MILDRED: Surrounded by family at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Friday, December 28, 2012, Mildred Grace Allen (nee Lusk) of Smithville passed away in her 93rd year. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Herbert (Herbie) Allen (2000). Loving mother of Marilyn Allen and Gehl Dallas, and of Brian and Susan Allen. Cherished grandmother of Cathleen and Bill Vitucci, Pamela and Ben Heaslip, and the late Joanne (1983), and great-grandmother of Callen, Emma, Trevor, Cooper, Natalie and Addison. Predeceased by siblings Everett Lusk, Vernon Lusk, Gertrude Brooks and Clifford Lusk. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, December 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 31 at 11 am. Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery. Special thanks to Drs. Martha Davidson and Amanda Marrone, the staff of Smithville Medical Centre and C Ward at WLMH for their kind and compassionate care of Mildred.
