GREEN, DIANNE: At the Henderson General Hospital in Hamilton on Monday, May 22, 2006, Dianne Green (nee Lockie) of Smithville, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Green Jr. (January 2, 2005). Loving mother of Debbie and Brent Simpson of Smithville, and of Steve and Diane Green of Beamsville. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy Simpson, Krista Simpson, Simon Green and Megan Green. Dear sister of Jean Bracey of Burlington, Jim and Gail Lockie of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and dear sister-in-law of Gloria Lockie of Edmonton, Alberta, Trish Lockie of Kitchener, Edna Smith of Caistor Centre, Ada and Don Urquhart and Frances Kinney of Smithville. Dianne will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth James Lockie and Aileen Mae Hall, brothers Bob Lockie and John Lockie, brothers-in-law Gerry Bracey and Leslie Smith and sister-in-law Shirley Lockie. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 11 am at the Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville. Inurnment in the church's adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Smithville United Church or Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
