Obituary of Winston Dean van der Velde

Winston Dean van der Velde January 9, 1981--- January 6, 2011 2 Corinthians 4: 8, 9, 10: We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed but not despairing; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For us most unexpected, the LORD has taken unto Himself into glory His child Winston van der Velde. He now awaits the return of the Lord Jesus Christ his Saviour in glory, peace and happiness. He was the dearly beloved and cherished husband of Casandra van der Velde - nee Donker and loved and adored by his children Chelsey, Dean, Isabelle and Colben. Beloved son of Henk and Emily van der Velde and son-in-law of John and Barb Donker. Deeply mourned by his brothers and sisters, Angelina and Tim de Gelder, Mark and Christy van der Velde, Ingrid and Jake Jansema, Greg van der Velde, Nicoline and Dan Spoelstra. Also deeply mourned by his brothers and sisters-in-law , Alisa and Dave van der Velde, Steve and Jenny Donker, Julienne and Matt Marr. Loved and remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Winston will be missed by his special friends Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gray of Fonthill, ON. Visiting hours are on D.V. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, from 2-4 PM and from 7-9 PM in the Canadian Reformed Church at Attercliffe ( 85948 Canborough Road, Dunnville). The funeral service will be held on D.V. Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 11.00 AM in the Canadian Reformed Church at Attercliffe. After the funeral service Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Smithville Love forever and always!
