RENIERIS, GUS: Suddenly at his home in Smithville on Monday, October 17, 2011, Konstantine (Gus) Renieris passed away in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Mary Tesseris for 49 years. Loving father of Bill, George and Jennifer, Lillian, and Peter and Jennifer. Cherished Papou to Kosta, Marika, Andrew and James. Gus was the last surviving son of the ten children of his parents Bill and Lillian Renieris. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and other family in Greece, Canada, USA and Australia. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Thursday, October 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Prayers at 8 pm. The funeral service will leave from the funeral home at 10 am for the funeral service at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street (corner of Linwell), St. Catharines on Friday, October 21 at 11 am. Interment Smithville United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary or St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
