FREEMAN, JERRY: Peacefully in his sleep, at his home in Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, Jerry Lorne Freeman in his 27th year. Beloved and only son of Jerry and Ella Freeman (nee Heczko). Loved grandson of John Heczko and the late Irene (1987), and Fred Billyard and the late Frances (2006). Jerry participated in the adventures of life with great courage, and touched the hearts of many people. He was a very special person. Jerry will also be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 20 at 11 am followed by the inurnment at St. Martins' Catholic Church Cemetery in Smithville. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the CNIB (Hamilton) would be appreciated by the family.
