MASTERNAK, WALTER: Peacefully, at McNally House in Grimsby on Friday, January 14, 2011, Wladyslaw (Walter) Jan Masternak of Beamsville in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Leonarda (Lenora) Krystina Masternak (nee Shynal). Loving father of Joanne (Steve Kapralik), Susan Larsen (Kevin) and Walter. Cherished grandfather of Victoria and Emily. Dear brother of Helen Gadziola (Chester), Stella Porter (John) and Henry Masternak (Lilia). Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, January 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours’ Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Road 20) in Smithville on Tuesday, January 18 at 11 am. Interment at the church’s adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to McNally House would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home
