KILLINS, LILA: At McMaster University Medical Centre in Hamilton on Monday, May 24, 2010, Lila Jean Killins (nee Merritt) of Albright Centre in Beamsville and formerly of Caistor, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Michael Killins. Loving mother of James and Geraldine of Smithville, Ernie and Sharon of Vancouver, BC, Glen and Wendy of Caledonia, Roger and Randi of Wainfleet, Bert and Barb of Burlington, and Terry and Peggy of Bracebridge. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Phyllis Railton of Grimsby. Predeceased by parents James Edward Merritt and Susannah May Comfort, and sister Kathleen Emerson. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Friday, May 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Merritts United Church on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11 am. Interment Merritts United Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
