DAVIS, JOAN: At Clarion Nursing Home in Stoney Creek, with her family at her side, on Monday, February 22, 2010, Joan Elizabeth Davis (nee Secore) of Smithville, formally of Simcoe, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Eli Davis. Loving mother of Robert and Vittoria of Florida, Sandra and Charles Christie of Smithville, Ronald and Pat of Hamilton, Randy and Alicia of Binbrook, Kathy and Willie Court of Hamilton, Janetta and Robert Park of Stoney Creek, and Joanne and Mike Warren of Smithville. Loving Nana to 22 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren. Dear sister of Kaye Harrelson of Florida. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 25 at 11am at the funeral home. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to The Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
