ROBINS, WAYNE: At Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, March 29, 2009, Wayne Douglas Ray Robins of Dunnville, in his 62nd year. Loving father of Shawn Robins, Teresa and Jamie Laking, Rhoda Robins and her companion David Reimer, and survived by their mother Betty Jane Robins. Cherished grandfather of Colin, Caileb, Caitlin, Cassandra, Jenna and Craig. Dear brother of Kevin and Helen Robins, and brother-in-law of Dianna Robins. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Edna Robins, and brother Kenneth Robins. Wayne will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and the Laking family. Friends may call at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Wednesday, April 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street (Regional Road 20), Smithville on Thursday, April 2 at 11 am. A private family burial service will precede the funeral service. If desired, memorial contributions to Hamilton Health Sciences ICU East Educational Fund, in recognition of their incomparable efforts toward the care of Wayne, would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
