KAPELLAS, SPIRIDON (STEVE): At West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, Steve Kapellas of St. Anns, in his 64th year. Beloved husband for almost 40 years of Pauline (nee Figur), and beloved son of Sophia and the late Alex Kapellas. Loving father of Alex and Michelle, and Penny and Philip Hawtrey. Cherished grandfather of Amber, Meghan and Stephen. Dear brother of Tom Kapellas, and of Maria and Nick Psaroudis. Steve was a very kind-hearted, generous and helpful gentleman with a good sense of humour. Viewing for friends will take place at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Saturday, February 28 between 10 and 11 am. A private family funeral service will follow. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
