DESRUISSEAUX, GLADYS: At her home in Smithville on Friday, July 17, 2009, Gladys Grace Desruisseaux (nee Lancaster), in her 70th year. Loving mother of Allen and Cathy, Bruce, and Paul and Cindy. Cherished grandmother of Emily, Dale, Chantel, Megan, Nadean and Noah. Survived by Norman Desruisseaux. Dear sister of Arthur Lancaster (Susan), Joan Ferracuti (and the late Ed), Betty Martin (Larry), the late Diane Smith (and the late Bob), and Larry Lancaster (Barb). She will also be missed by her special friends Chic and Shirley, and Tom and Janet. Special thanks to Dr. Cano, Dr. Marrone and nurse Eleanor Kent. At her request, there will be no service. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
