Tisiot, Elizabeth Anne (nee. Stancik)

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Liz), peacefully at home in her 65th year on Sunday, January 12, 2025 with her sister by her side. Beloved wife of Mark Tisiot and cherished sister of Mary (Doug Broadribb). Predeceased by her parents John and Ann Stancik and brother Johnny. Liz will be greatly and forever missed by her family, friends and treasured furbabies. Arrangements have been entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville. Interment to take place at a later date at Smithville United Church Cemetery. As feline welfare was a cause dear to Liz's heart, if desired memorial donations can be made to Roo Roo Cat Rescue, a small cat welfare organization Liz helped co-found 8 yrs ago and can be made by contacting the funeral home www.merritt-fh.com or (905)957-7031.
