It is with a very heavy heart that we notify you of the sudden and unexpected passing of Joe Marchment.  Joe leaves behind his wife and partner of 28 years, his loyal and loved pets, brothers (3) and sister.  This profound loss is shared by those he allowed to be close to him.  His family, chosen family, loved friends, yoga family at InPower and golfing companions are left behind to grapple with Joe's decision to end his own life.  

This choice comes as a shock to most, even those very few he allowed to know the parts he struggled to keep to himself.  He kept his internal battles private, hidden away from most with exceptional mastery, but they became too difficult for him to bear.  From the outside looking in, his life was opulent as he surrounded himself with the finest things and exceptional people who made up the fabric of his life.

A memorial gathering will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
