Condolences
To the family, your dad was very special. He always had a warm beaming smile and a hug. He adored his family and embraced life as it came. Firm principals and steadfast. May the many memories of the times shared always be a source of comfort.
Sending love and hugs, -kathy
I am so sorry to hear of Earl's passing. He was a very kind man, always had a smile on his face and was quick with a joke. He and Elaine would always dance so well together, such a joy to watch.
Growing up in Smithville, his grandson Rob became my best friend in grade school. Earl and Rob taught me how to plow fields. Earl and Elaine would drive Rob and myself to the local plowing competitions where we would compete. It was always fun at those plowing matches. Earl was a great coach.
Dear wayne and Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Earl’s passing . Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. The passing of a loved one is never easy, and my heart goes out to each of you. It brings some comfort to know that Colleen was there to welcome him with open arms. The bond between family is eternal, and now they are together once again.
Wayne and the entire family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find strength in the cherished memories you hold and the love that surrounds you. Lean on each other for support, and know that you are not alone in your grief.
With deepest sympathy,
Cat Dawson
We only knew Earl for a short time following the marriage of our daughter Sarah to Ryan Crooks. The times when we’re in Earl’s company usually involved wonderful conversations about the way our Township (and other jurisdictions) were run (or not). Earl was outspoken and always had intelligent comments and ideas on how to just get things done, properly. They were wonderful discussions and we appreciated his dedication to the community. We need more people advocates like Earl in our community. He will be missed and our hearts go out to all of the Crooks clan. Larry and Dodie Galajda
Mrs. C, Debbie, Denise, Wayne and Glenn, and extended family, my most sincere condolences on the passing of you husband and father, The Legend, Earl. So many grand and fond memories of years past, whether he was bailing us out with various repairs, talking tractors and straight furrows, or shooting the breeze around the stove, every meeting with Earl the Pearl was a grand and great learning experience. I always looked forward to seeing him at the GFD turkey rolls, and tried to ensure he got that winning ticket. :)
Surely to be missed by many, none more so than yourselves, grandkids, and great grands. He loved all, judged none, and will be remembered by myself as a good man. My respect and good wishes to you all, and may many happy memories help you through the coming days, as you celebrate his life. My heartfelt Thanks for sharing him with us.
Our deepest condolences. Thanks for the memories
My thoughts are with all the family. I will cherish all the memories.
Our deepest condolences to the family, Earl was always there to help and played a big part in keeping the North Niagara plowmen and 4H plowing going. He will be missed.
My deepest condolences to the family.
