Obituary of Gerry B. Wikkerink

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the Lord in His mercy took to Himself, His child, Gerhardus Bernardus (Gerry) Wikkerink, from Albright Manor, Grimsby, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Harmina (nee Siebring) for 59 years and dear father and grandfather of Bill & Tracey (Martin & Paulina, Jessica & Andrew, Darren & Katriena, Aliesha & Jeff, Amanda & Hamish, Angela & Mark, Stephanie & Jay, Roger, Matthew & Juliana, Emily, Juliana, Christina, Daniel, Willy), Roger & Julie (Caleb & Laura, Josie & Gareth, Abigail, Marlene, Trevor, Carolanne, Louisa, Jacob) and Wilf & Natalie (Andrew & Sarah, Emma & Eric, Thomas & Christianna, Kathryn, Charlotte, Nadine). Great grandfather of 39 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his son, Harold John (1981) and grandson, Levi Jakob (2015).

Son of the late Jan Willem & Engelina Wikkerink and son-in-law of the late Hiske & Marchien Siebring. Brother and brother-in-law to John✝ & Ann✝ Wikkerink, Rudy✝& Sadie✝ Wikkerink, Henk & Gladys✝ Wikkerink, Bill & Gert Wikkerink, Gerald & Anneke Wikkerink, Johan & Dorothy Wikkerink, Rita Wikkerink, John & Sharon✝ Siebring, Al & Anne Siebring.

Visitation will take place at Wellandport United Reformed Church (74082 Wellandport Rd., Wellandport, ON) on Thursday, October 17 from 5pm-8pm. 

Following a private interment, a memorial service will be held at Wellandport United Reformed Church on Friday, October 18 at 11am.
