Condolences
Sending our deepest condolences to Joyce, Brooke, Tim and Kim. For not enough years Obie and I shared wonderful grandchildren, swapped Stelco tales, and cruised around with the “ brides” in our stangs…….we became great friends in a New York minute……a match made in heaven …….we both loved hockey, baseball, golf, and teasing Tim and disliked politicians, referees, and Dofasco…….
Like most everyone who knew Obie, I will miss him everyday. Save me a spot on the bench Obie…….

Joyce, Tim, Kim and family.....our deepest condolences. We will miss the kibitzing of Bob and just the all around fun banter we would have golfing and any time we're together. Bob was known in our group as "Fairway Bob" Didn't matter with what club he used or how he hit it, he always made the Fairway.
Ken and I are blessed having known Bob not quite as long as his school and work buddies but that didn't matter....was like we knew each other forever.
We love you Bob and we miss you.
Angie and Ken Corfield
My sincere condolences to Joyce and family on the passing of Bob(Obie).

Condolences to Joyce and the Family. I worked at Stelco with Obie for 40 years. He was a good rigger who worked hard and always had a story to tell. Will miss our talks at the mall… Rest in Peace, Dave & Gail Higenell
Joyce, Tim, Kim, and your family have our deepest condolences, love, and support.
Bobby, a great friend of mine and my family. We would always greet each other as ‘Brother’ and always would say, ‘I use to like you Bradley’.
There are many great memories growing up together: teenage years, high school (Broadway), hockey, golf, family but he never let me drive the Mustang.
‘Fairway Bob’ loved the 5th hole at Southbrook.
I was honored to be his best man 52 years ago, and again when Bob and Joyce renewed their vows (4th time) at Pen Lakes last summer.
Time flies, but memories last forever. It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.
I will miss you Brother,
Your loving friend Dave Bradley (Doogie) and family Lora, Sarah, and Jon.
As a fellow rigger I did not or really anyone that I know of regular refer to him as "Bob" it was always Obie . Very appropriate as it just sounded right . I would say he took as much from John Storey as well as Larry Dorman did . Lets just say very interesting and memorable times . Sad to hear of his passing and heart felt condolences to all . I see there are so many !

My condolences to the O’Brien family. I worked with Obie when we were in group Six with the field service. First rate rigger as well as a multi crafter! I worked on one of his early Mustangs back in the 80’s. He did have a passion for those cars. R.I.P. my friend.
Thanking you for making me a better rigger.
My sincere condolences to all the family.Bob was a great guy and a very good Rigger who worked hard and loved his job.He was quite the character and his laugh was contagious.I was an Ironwork in the Field Services and worked along with Bob probably most of those 40 years.May he Rest in Peace. Sincere condolences to Joyce Tim Kim & family. I have come to know Bob in much more in the the last few years. WE have talked many times about all the good time we have had in the field force. Bob said if we had to live over are life we would go back to STELCO. The most thing we mist are the people we work with. Will always remember Bob PAUL MCCORMACK
Many laughs and good times busting each other’s chops in the Car Repair shop. You will be missed by your friends, coworkers and by the family you were so proud of.
My sincere condolences to Joyce and family on the passing of Bob.
I knew Bob from our days at Delta high school and then at Stelco. Bob was in the Field Forces and I was in the Electrical Department; our paths crossed on many occasions.
He will be missed by so many friends.
Rest in Peace Bob.
