ANDERSON, VIVIAN: Peacefully at her home in Smithville on Wednesday, August 26, 2009, surrounded by the love of her family, Vivian Louise Anderson in her 66th year. Beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) John Anderson. Loving daughter of Betty Houser and the late Roy. Dearly loved mother of Michelle and Scott Staton. Cherished grandmother of Anthony and Owen. Dear sister of Debbie Houser (Alex) and aunt of Samantha. Dear sister-in-law of Brenda Wood (and the late Malcolm), and of Len and Barb Anderson. Vivian will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville on Monday, August 31 beginning at 9 am with a memorial service at 11 am. Inurnment Lane Cemetery, St. Anns. The family would like to sincerely thank the nurses of Saint Elizabeths and ParaMed, Dr. Denise Marshall and Dr. Melissa MacEwen, for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
