Obituary of Silvana Firpo

FIRPO, SILVANA

Surrounded by her loving family at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, after a long and courageous battle,  Silvana passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023 at the age of 83.

She is reunited with her loving husband Giorgio of 63 years who predeceased her in 2003. Devoted mother of Cindy (Alan) of Caistor Centre and Michelle (Grant) of Victoria Harbour. Loving Nonna to Kathleen (Tyler) of Thorold, Michael (Tasha) of Smithville, and Giorgia of Victoria Habour. Adoring great-grandmother to Aiden, Hunter, Tyler, Katalina, and Bentley.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will be remembered for her kindness, and sense of humour. She was a great Nonna, not only to her family but everyone who knew her.

Thank you to the staff of Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, special thanks to Dr. Italiano and nurse Darlene for taking such great care of her in her last days.

A funeral service will take place at Smithville United Church, 116 West Street, Smithville, on Tuesday, November 28, at 11:00 a.m. If desired, memorial donations to Warm and Cozy would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
