Obituary of Jane Van Stralen

On October 14, 2023 at Albright Manor, Jane Van Stralen (nee. Van Baar) passed away peacefully. Predeceased by her husband of 51 years John Van Stralen. She is missed by her Children Angela, Colleen (Ed), John (Brenda), Theo (Wendy), Nick (Therese), and Jerry (Carrie). Jane will always be remembered in the hearts of her grandchildren Miranda (Tom), Alicia (Ray), Taryn (Nick), Carrie, Victoria (Andrew), Jennifer (Eric), Jeromy (Ashley), Melissa (Jason), Ryan (Adriana), Brandon (Eric), Brittany (Matt), Shannon (Donald), Ian, Malcom (Natahsa), Neale, Noah, Nikolle, Matthew, and Adam. Jane also leaves behind her 17 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother Kees. Survived by her sister in law Tiny. She Will be missed by her large family in the Netherlands. Visitation will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville on Wednesday, October 18th from 6:00-8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Smithville on Thursday, October 19th at 11:00 am, interment to follow.
