Condolences
We will all miss Aunt Marilyn at the cottage. She has been such an integral part of the Gull line family for so many years, it won’t be the same without her. Her smiling face and lovely presence will always be remembered along with her cookies and pie! Rip Marilyn, say hi to Uncle Willis….till we meet again❤️. Elaine and Ed Zylstra
Sending prayers of peace to you all. Remembering Marilyn (and Willis) knowing they are together again, and maybe if the Lord allows playing cards with Harley and Joan up in the heavens. Remembering lots of laughs and good food shared with Marilyn & Willis and Switzer's both in Florida and here in Ontario. Cling to all of your memories - they fill the heart.
Peace
Bill, Diane & Cody Switzer
Brian, kindly accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your mum!
Met her a few times at Glen Cairn United Church. You mentioned some of her sweet endearing antics in the pulpit which l enjoyed.
You all enjoyed her long-lived beautiful life so be comforted in that.
Extend same to Sandra on my behalf.
I wish you long life.
Regards,
Carol Achampong
Dear Brian and John,
I was very saddened to hear of your Mother’s passing. I always enjoyed being in Marilyn’s company - she had such a welcoming presence. She was a lovely, intelligent, talented and kind lady!
Marilyn was also a good friend to my Mother Marjorie. They were able to have a few visits and lunches together before they both went into different care.
Marilyn certainly enjoyed and participated in many different lifestyle activities- a life well lived!

I have so many fond memories of Marilyn and Willis it is hard to put words to them. Bill and I and our kids spent many wonderful times at the cottage , They looked after Julie,Kim and Jeff when we went to Japan for Expo, the kids still talk about things they did ,Jeff even remembers an Uncle Willis haircut he received.
Many joyous Christmas Eves were spent at their house in Smithville and it was carried on by John and Sarah at their place , Wonderful oyster stew always for those oyster lovers and many other good things for people like me a non oyster lover.
My sincere condolences to all of Marilyn's family. I attended S.S.#5 Caistor with Marilyn where her brother, Bill, Rhea's husband, & I were in the same class and, of course, we all rode on the School Bus to Smithville High School.
What wonderful times we shared; they left us with a lifetime of memories.
Blessings to all.
