Krick, Gladys Evelyn 1927-2023

Gladys passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in her 96th year. Gladys Evelyn Krick (nee Ballantyne) of Welland and formerly West Lincoln. Beloved wife of the late Harold Laverne Krick (d. 1992). Cherished mother of Dwight (Gail), Lois (Jim), Lloyd, and Darlene. Loving grandmother of Stacey (Dave), Dawn (Josh), Scott, Paula, David (Tina), Carol, and Jenny (Sean). Wonderful great grandmother to Justin, Tommy, Kate Lynn, Kyle, Kerissa, Dana, Devin, Amber, and Jade. Gladys would have soon been a great great grandmother. Devoted sister to Ina (the late Edward). Predeceased by her siblings Norman (Shirley), Alfred (Leta), and Mabel (Desmond). She will be missed and remembered by many other family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Matthew Noble-Wohlgemut, C.C.A.C., the PSW’s from Paramed especially Keanna and the Nurses from St. Elizabeths for their wonderful care and support. Visitation to take place at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville, Thursday, September 21, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:00am.
