So very saddened to hear our friend Davey had passed. I will always remember our talks, the laughs, the kindness, and the fun loving way about you my friend xoxo. There are no words at this extremely heartbreaking time. This is such a shock and sad loss to our family and the entire town of Smithville. How does someone so full of life and love get taken away so fast and so young. Dave loved life, and was a loving, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, son-in-law, co-worker, and friend, always smiling, will to give a helping hand, and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. His smile, laughter, generosity, and, most importantly, love for his family will never be forgotten. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Dave. A shining star has gone out in the town of Smithville, never to be replaced.

I have only known Davey for about 6mths but it seems I have known him my whole life. He puts smiles on people's faces wherever he goes and always so cheerful.
