Obituary of Alice Mans

In God’s perfect timing, Alice Mans was called home to her Saviour on August 8, 2023. Alice was at home with her husband and children right until the time of her death. Preceded by her first husband Charles (Chuck), together they leave behind 4 children; Jeff (Carol), Bert (Marilyn), Michelle (Tim), and Joanne (Al). She leaves behind her beloved husband John of 36 years and stepchildren; Karen (John), Linda (Wayne), Albert (Diane), and Donald (Darlene). She leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alice was Oma to so many and she loved them all as her own. She is survived by her brothers Bert (Sharon), and John (Amy), and her sister Grace. She was preceded by her other siblings Mike, Dick, Joe, Ralph, and Hank. Alice always served others in any way she could including volunteering at the Community Cares, hosting meals for widowers, participating in story hour at her church and so much more. Visitation to take place at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, Smithville, Friday, August 11, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. A private burial will proceed the service. A funeral service will be held at the Smithville Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11:00am.
