Obituary of Alyona Welgan-Carlassara

WELGAN-CARLASSARA, ALYONA, with profound grief we announce the passing of Alyona (Alona) Welgan-Carlassara, on July 5, 2023, in her 24th year. Alona will forever be cherished in the hearts of her parents Dianne and Alex. She is predeceased by her grandparents Michael and Irene Welgan and Sante Carlassara and survived by her loving grandmother Doriana. She will be endearingly remembered by her aunt and uncle Lisa and Phil, cousins Nicholas, Doriana, and Nathan, and by her aunt and uncle Kim and Rob, cousins Kendra  and Mackenzie (Cody and daughter Mila). Her animal companions Fifi and Batman, Tula, Oscar, Mama and Daisy will miss her dearly. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 166 West Street (Regional Rd 20), Smithville on Friday, July 14 at 12 pm. Refreshments afterwards.  Donations to the Welland SPCA in Alyona's name would be appreciated by the family and can be made at the service through the funeral home staff (905) 957-7031
