Obituary of Don MacInnes

Our family has lost a gentle and kind man. Husband and best friend of 43 years to Linda MacInnes. He was a father to Matthew, Katie and predeceased by his son Nathaniel. Grandfather to Kaydince and Graceson, and Elijah. Brother to Sharon (Don), Shirlee (Jeff), Chirstopher (Lesley). Brother in law to Douglas (Shana), Sharon (David), Carrie, Tracy (Todd), and predeceased by Bryan. He was uncle to Melissa (George), Lindsey (Adam), Tyler (+), Adam, Connor (Lori), Jacquie, Jenna (Ed), AJ, James, Nicole (Karley), Darcy (Gary), Charlie, Justin, Devon, Michelle, Johnny, Ian, Kenny. Don was a great uncle to Evelyn, Gavin, Logan, Liam, Cayden, Maksym, Tyson, Sophia, Evan, Adalynn, Jacob, Oliver, Trinity, Tanner, Ethan, Hazel. He was a special friend to Jenny, Chris, Bert, Irene and Rob. He will be loved and remembered by many extended family and friends. Visitation at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville, on Friday, June 2, 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
