Obituary of Zach Prieur
On February 18, 2023, we lost our Zach. He was an incredible son to Jennifer (Al), and Scott (Julie), and a wonderful brother to Evan, Riley, Camryn, Morgan. Zach was simply adored by his grandparents Dianne, Dave, Jeanne, Mac, Mark, and Carolyn. He will be terribly missed by his uncles and aunts: Tim (Lindsay), Luke (Oksanna), Marc (Marj), and Dave (Jayne), Tim (Rachael), Kerilyn (Tom), and Alex as well as his loving cousins. Zach had so many passions including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, reading, swimming, and most of all, music. He loved all music but he is the world’s greatest Bruce Springsteen fan. Zach was a student at the Niagara Children’s Centre School, a place that believed in him and showed him all that was possible. Zach had to deal with more struggles than any child should, but he did it with resilience, determination, and his signature smile. He made the world a better place in 13 short years. We don’t know what we will do without him. Visitation will take place at Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville on February 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
