Obituary of Lewis Atkinson

With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Lewis Atkinson on December 30th 2022, in his 66th year. Lewis is survived by his love Shirley Bartlett, mother Loretta Atkinson, brother Murry Atkinson (Cindy) and family, daughter Valerie Atkinson (Mike) and grandchildren Devin and Jessica. Nephew Jason, niece Darcy and family and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lewis is predeceased by his long time partner Linda Purcer, father Wilbert Atkinson and brother Larry Atkinson. Lewis will also be missed by his nine stepchildren and many extended grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville. A private interment will be held at a later date, followed by a celebration of life.
