Obituary of Nikolaos Zervopoulos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nikolaos Zervopoulos. After a long courageous battle with varied illness, he died peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Welland General Hospital, on September 10, 2022 in his 65th year. He will be forever loved and remembered by his daughter Anastasia (Jarrett) and his grandchildren Isabelle, Katerina, and Scarlett. He will be greatly missed by his wife Kiki. He is now reunited with his parents Constantinos and Theodoula Zervopoulos and sister Stella. Visitation will take place at the Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville onThursday, September 15 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Thrice Holy Hymn Service/Trisagio will be held at St.Katharine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara Street(corner of Linwell), St. Catharines, on Friday, September 16 at 11:00 am, and it will be followed by the Κηδεία (Funeral Service). The final Thrice Holy Hymn/Trisagio Service/Burial will then take place at the Smithville United Church Cemetery.   If desired, memorial contributions to Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
