Obituary of Audrey Van Herk
The Lord in His infinite wisdom called his daughter, Audrey Van Herk at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby, ON in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late William Van Herk (2002) for 49 years. Loving mother of Debbie (John), Case (Wilma), Nelly (Larry), Joanne (George), John (Chris) and Jim (Holly). Beloved grandmother of 22 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 55 great-grandchildren. Our parents emigrated from the Netherlands in 1955 and later settled on a dairy farm in Caistor Centre. From there, they retired and travelled extensively for many years. Mom enjoyed knitting for Grimsby C.R.C. Mission Circle and at Christmas making doekjes for family members. She also volunteered for many years at Shalom Manor. Visitation will be at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Townline Road, Smithville on Wednesday July 13, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Thursday July 14, 2022 also at Smithville Christian Reformed Church at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will precede the service.
