Obituary of Eltje Zantingh
ZANTINGH, Eltje (Elly) nee SINKGRAVEN
August 3, 1932 – June 28, 2022
The Lord in His infinite wisdom called home his daughter, Elly Zantingh at Shalom Manor in Grimsby, ON in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Zantingh (2010) for 57 years. Loving mother of Tilda & Don Dam, Karen & Will Lammers, Henry and Janet Zantingh, Ron and Kim Zantingh,Tony and Irma Zantingh, Nancy and Harry De Vries, Angela and Rick Attema. Beloved grandmother of 33 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 57 great-grandchildren. Elly was is predeceased by her parents and brother and sister-in law in the Netherlands and is survived by nieces and a nephew there. She will also be missed by her surviving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, in the Zantingh family here. All through-out her life, Elly was devoted to serving her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and she loved her family deeply. We sincerely thank the wonderful staff at Shalom Manor and Gardens for their care of Mom over the past seven and a half years and Pastor Peter Janssens for his compassionate pastoral care of our mom. Visitation will be held at Smithville Christian Reformed Church, 6522 Townline Road, Smithville on Sunday, July 3, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday, July 4, 2022 also at Smithville Christian Reformed Church at 11:00 a.m. A private internment will precede the service.
