I remember I got to spend time with Uncle David it was soon after his return to Canada from Ohio.

At the time I had a newly gathered group of friends that were significantly older than me.

One day he pulled me aside and warned me to be careful. I was young and he was worried I would get into trouble. I was coming home at 3 and 4 am and he did not want me to get in with the wrong crowd.

I was actually out late helping a Christian Rock Band and as safe as it was possible to be but looking back I really appreciate the care and concern he always showed for the people around him and especially his family.

I will miss my beautiful Uncle.
