Julie and the entire Joyner family….we are all incredibly saddened to hear of Whitey’s passing. He was always a genuine, kind and joyful soul. Whether it was everyday when he walked into General Refractories working with Jack all those years or how we girls remembered him as the best Santa ever at the shop Christmas parties, he was certainly a legend that will be missed. Take care of each other in the difficult days ahead and hope the memories of happier times bring some comfort. Its a shame that it’s been too long since our paths have crossed unfortunately but know we are thinking of you with heartfelt and sincere condolences…

Julie, Doug, Andrew,Steve and families. We were so sad to hear of Whiteys passing. He was such an awesome man. Always happy, smiling and caring. We loved all of the fun times we had at hockey tournaments and get togethers. Every time I go by an arena I laugh to myself. I remember leaving my seat in the bleachers to look for Wade. I’d be walking down the halls calling his name. I’d pass Whitey in the hall and he’d hold up 3 fingers and all he would say was 3. I’d go into dressing room 3 and there would be Wade hanging by his coat on a hook sucking on a candy. ( I’m pretty sure Whitey would give him a candy.) He’d say Mr Joyner is giving me a tune up again.! I’d ask what he did to get this tune up and a big grin would come on his face as he’d say I pinched his bum.” Lol he must have given him a tune up at least 75 times.( Wade loved going to the arena to get his candy and a tune up.)How I wish we could go back to those days. He raised such a large, loving family who I know will miss him dearly. He was a man among men! We will miss you Whitey. Rest In Peace dear friend. Rick, Cindy, Mandy(Tracey),Brett, and Wade Poziomka and families.❤️
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this, your time of loss. Our deepest sympathies.
