Obituary of Carolyn Mihalides

Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of our mother, Carolyn Margaret Mihalides on Saturday, December 11, 2021.  Mom was in her 80th year and passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family.  As he was for 60 years, Dad was by her side. He held her hand as she left us to be reunited in heaven with our beloved brother, Mark. Knowing she is able to hold her son again brings us peace at such a difficult time.  Mom leaves behind us kids, Lynette (Joe) Walmsley, Paul Mihalides and Sharleen (Ken) Kohut. She gave the best hugs to her grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan, Christian, Brandon, Sarah and Jacob. She will be dearly missed by her brothers Ernest (Karin) and Dennis (Irene) Nash along with many nephews.  We are grateful for the tremendous support from Dr. Ireland, St. Elizabeth nurses, Paola Laurence, and all the caring PSWs.  Please check the funeral home website for an update on a Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
