Obituary of Wallace Crooks

CROOKS, Burley Wallace “Wally”

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of our husband and father on November 7, 2021 at age 65.  His final days were spent at home surrounded and cared for by his loving family.  We are happy that God has taken him Home and ended his suffering, but we also miss him so much already!  Left to mourn are his loving wife of almost 45 years Susan, children Michelle (Kirk), Jennifer (Kelly), Jeremy (Breanne), Valerie (Wes), and 12 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings Ann Nie (Dave), Doug Crooks (Laurie), Sandra Ballantyne (Terry), Lloyd Crooks (Anna), and sisters-in-law Judy Allan (the late Jim), Dorothy Oosterhoff (Jesse), and Shelley Nedelko (Martin).  Wally is predeceased by his parents Burley and Marg Crooks and two infant siblings.  Wally was an avid hunter who relished his time in the northern wilderness not just searching out that elusive moose but appreciating God’s gift of creation.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
